Amanda White, daughter of Patricia and Thomas White of Braddock Avenue, Uniontown, is engaged to wed Michael Carr, son of Jerry and Bobbi Jo Carr of Braddock Avenue, Uniontown. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and Western School of Health and Business. She is employed as an X-ray technologist.

Her fianc’ is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and Penn State Fayette. He is owner of Konko’s Sports Bar.
