William Leslie Welker Sr.
Mr. William Leslie Welker Sr., age 68, of 7180 Timothy Drive, Concord, North Carolina, beloved Son, Father, Husband and Grandfather, died Friday, March 28, 2003 at home. He was born September 17, 1934 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, son of Leslie Welker and Elizabeth Miller Welker.
Mr. Welker retired from New Jersey Zync Mine and was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mrs. Myrtle Joan Welker; Son: Mr. William Leslie Welker Jr. and wife, Mary Jane, of Florida; Daughter, Mrs. Marion Welker Holgate and husband, Lawrence Holgate, of Germany; and Grandchildren: William Leslie Welker III, Tyler Welker, Morgan Welker, Heather Holgate and Andrew Holgate.
The Family will receive Friends at the WILKINSON FUNERAL HOME, 100 Branchview Drive, Concord, North Carolina 28026 on Tuesday, April 1, from 9:30 a.m. until the Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow in National Cemetery of Salisbury (North Carolina).
