Ruth E. Nicalo, age 94, of Williamsport, Pa., passed away Friday, May 2, 2003 in Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Pa. She was born March 13, 1907 in Youngwood, Westmoreland County, Pa., daughter of Charles L. Nicalo and Harriet Mitchell Nicalo.

Ruth graduated from George Washington University and was employed by the United States Government National Security Council for 33 years.

She was a member of National City Christian Church, Washington, D.C., and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and a former member of Central Christian Church in Uniontown, Pa.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Jane Kermes and Catherine Berneth, and brothers, Louis F. Nicalo and Donald C. Nicalo.

She is survived by a sister, Nancy L. Nicalo of New York City, New York; a brother, James E. Nicalo of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation is private.

Friends and Family are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Wednesday, May 7, at 10 a.m. at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
