The following people were recently sentenced in Fayette County Court. Sentences for driving under the influence (DUI) involve a period of license suspension and generally require participation in the county’s Alcohol Safe Driving School and participation in the Ignition Interlock Program once the license is returned. Jodi Lynn Friend, 23, of Uniontown was sentenced on two counts of writing bad checks. She was sentenced to a total of two years probation and ordered to make $979.50 restitution to Pechin Shopping Village.
Phillip Edgar Nicholson, 45, of Connellsville was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison and ordered to make $700 restitution to Crerie Cramer for DUI.
