Walter Vavreck
Walter Vavreck, age 71, of Los Angeles, California, and formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, and Hibbs, Pa., who graduated in 1949 from the former German Township High School, McClellandotwn, Pa., was a Veteran of the Korean War, and operated his own business for many years in Cleveland, Ohio, prior to his retirement, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2003 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Jane Pozzuto Vavreck; a daughter, Dr. Lynn Vavreck Lewis and her husband, Dr. Jeff Lewis, of Los Angeles, California; sisters: Elizabeth Vavreck Buksar and husband, Frank, of Baltimore, Maryland, and Catherine Vavreck Fidek and husband, Michael “Mike”, of Long Branch, New Jersey; brothers: Albert Vavreck and wife, Patricia, of Hopwood, Pa., and Steve Vavreck and wife, Florence “Flo”, of Republic, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Friday, May 2, in Reseda, California.
