Rocco Anthony Ventura of Daisytown, Pa., passed away Friday, May 10, 2003 in his home. He was born February 12, 1944 in Daisytown, Pa., a son of the late John Ventura who died in 1972 and Mary Viola Ventura of Daisytown, Pa., who survives.

Rocky was a 1962 graduate of California High School, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Daisytown, Pa.

Besides his mother, he is survived by four sisters; Mrs. Rose Kordich of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Mrs. Beverly Stringer of Mesa, Arizona, Mrs. Joan Hagner of Sarasota, Fla., Mrs Nadine Ross of Lowhill, Brownsville, Pa.; one brother John Robert Ventura of Roscoe, Pa. and seven nieces and two nephews.

A Private Visitation and Blessing Service was held on Monday, May 12, 2003 in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main St., Beallsville, Pa. with Rev. Francis Jurewicz officiating.
