Teens charged

Police have arrested two teens in connection with the March burglary of McDonalds.

Chad A. Knight, 18, of 406 Connell Ave., and Jereme A. Seman, 18, of 528 Hardy Hill Road, Dunbar, were arraigned Tuesday on charges of burglary, criminal conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief before District Justice Robert Breakiron.

According to the criminal complaint, Knight and Seman allegedly conspired with McDonald’s employee Shawna E. Fisher to remove an unspecified amount of money from the safe of the Memorial Boulevard business.

Police said Fisher, 26, of 126 E. Grape Alley, allegedly provided a set of keys to the pair that allowed them to enter the restaurant and left the safe open for them to access.

Seman and Knight were freed on $20,000 unsecured bonds. A preliminary hearing for the teens is scheduled for May 20.

Fisher, meanwhile, faces a May 27 preliminary hearing before Breakiron. She remains free on a $10,000 straight cash bond.

Hearing delayed

A preliminary hearing slated for a man charged with killing his wife was delayed Wednesday at the request of his legal counsel.

Glenn Wilmer Geary, 55, of Upper Tyrone Township allegedly fired a shotgun into the vehicle where his wife, Sally Ann Geary, was sitting during the early morning hours of May 6, which subsequently caused her death.

He is charged with criminal homicide.

According to the police complaint, Glenn Geary told investigating officers that he thought he fired the Mosberg 12-gauge over the top of the car after his wife had shouted “derogatory comments” at him.

“After I shot the gun, I saw the hole in the windshield,” he told police. “I didn’t hear Sally say anything else.”

Glenn Geary remains incarcerated in Fayette County Prison.

He faces a June 25 preliminary hearing before District Justice Michael Rubish.
