Gerald “Jerry” Matiyasic, age 50, of Fredericktown, Pa., who graduated from Beth-Center High School in 1971 and was born in Brownsville, Pa., died Friday, May 16, 2003 in the home of his brother. He is survived by his parents, Amel Matiyasic and Helen Radinich Matiyasic of Fredericktown, Pa.; a son, Matthew John Matiyasic of Jefferson, Pa.; brothers: Peter Pordash of Lakewood, Ohio, Steve Matiyasic of Denbo, Pa., and Thomas Matiyasic of Fredericktown, Pa.; sisters: Marjorie Brown of Fredericktown, Pa., Virginia Valenzuela of San Antonio, Texas, Anna Marie Mikalik of Carmichaels, Pa., and Bernice Wyels of Fredericktown, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive Friends in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m. and Monday, May 19, until the Blessing at 10:30 a.m.
