S. Douglas Allshouse II, 54, of California, Pa., died Sunday, May 18, 2003 following a lengthy illness. He was born March 8, 1949 in Charleroi, Pa., son of Nancy (Lombardo) Allshouse and the late Samuel Douglas Allshouse I.

In addition to his father, Doug is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Concetta Lombardo; paternal grandparents, David and Mary Allshouse; three uncles, William Lombardo, Angelo Lombardo and Howard Allshouse and one aunt Carol Allshouse Hubbart.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Nancy Allshouse with whom he made his home; a son Christopher L. Allshouse of Brownsville, Pa.; stepsons Ryan and Jay Reynolds; a sister Phyllis Tabron; cousin, Adrienne Smith; two nieces, Lisa Tabron Davis and Jennifer Tabron DeMarco; one great nephew, Michael Angelo DeMarco; uncles and aunts, Sam and Marie Lombardo, Robert and Phyllis Moore, Santa Eovaldi, Betty Lombardo, Katherine Lombardo, Wanda Allshouse Deems and Paul Allshouse Hubbart.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 9:30 a.m. on Thursday when a Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christina Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Church with Fr. Mark Skertich officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
