Two arrested
Uniontown police arrested an 18-year-old male and 17-year-old juvenile male from Brooklyn N.Y., who were wanted on bench warrants from the city and state of New York.
The warrants are for charges relating to drugs and a shooting incident.
Joseph Minott, 18, and Malcom White, who is 17, but was charged as an adult, were arrested in 4 Montview St., Apt. 2B at 8:47 a.m., Detective Phillip W. Jones said.
They were arraigned by District Justice Mark Blair and remanded to the Fayette County Prison on a $100,000 straight bond.
Jones said a New York City police detective who said the pair was possibly in Uniontown contacted him. Police said an informant led police to the Montview Street apartment.
Minott was wanted on three warrants and White on one warrant.

Vehicle stolen
A 1995 Chevrolet Tracker owned by Thomas Saluga of Chalk Hill was stolen from the Uniontown Mall parking lot between 7 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, state police in Uniontown said.

Burglary investigated
City police are investigating the theft of two diamond rings, a stereo, a gold wedding band, two silver necklaces and an endorsed check for $1,500 from Staci Hiles’ home on Braddock Avenue. Police said she discovered the items missing Tuesday at 3:23 p.m., but there were no signs of forced entry and all the doors were locked.

Car recovered
State police said someone stole a car owned by Walisa Isaac of Brownsville after she left it unlocked with keys in the ignition Sunday night when she went into Walmart, but she recovered it herself near Lemon Wood Acres in North Union Township that night.

Tire cut
A tire on a vehicle owned by Paul Galla of Star Junction was cut at his Church Street residence between 12:40 and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.
Fairchance
Citation filed
A harassment citation was filed against James Evans, 31, of Uniontown for allegedly shoving and striking Robert M. Gaber, 31, of Fairchance at a High Street residence at 10:45 p.m. Monday, state police said. The victim did not require medical attention.

A harassment citation was filed against Gregory B. Green, 57, of Ohiopyle for allegedly punching Perry C. Gordon, 40, of Uniontown in the head at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 40 at 9:54 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. The victim did not require medical attention.

Man cited
Chad Rankin, 27, of Smithfield was cited for harassment for allegedly threatening Terry James Boyd, 24 of Fairchance at Pappy’s in Hopwood at 11 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Lawn chairs stolen
Four lawn chairs owned by Jane Ann Cuzzupe were stolen from the rear of her East Main Street home, city police said. The theft was reported Wednesday at 10:20 a.m.

Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– Larry Thomas, 48, of 315 N. Arch St. for public drunkenness after he was allegedly found in an intoxicated condition and sleeping in his car along North Arch Street on May 18.
– Justin Stewart, 20, of 10167 Woodbury Drive, Wexford, for underage drinking after he was allegedly found with numerous bottles of beer in his vehicle during a May 19 incident along North Jefferson Street.
– Phillip Nicholson, 45, of 39 Gibson Terrace for public drunkenness after he was allegedly found in an intoxicated condition near the intersection of West Crawford Avenue and First Street on May 17.
