Margaret (Sis) Johnston Lowery, 80, of High House, Pa., died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, in Uniontown Hospital. Sis was a homemaker who loved cooking and baking for others. She was a member of the Walnut Hill United Methodist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Sara Cramer Johnston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Franks; and three brothers, Alister (Red), Charles (Dub) and Elmer (Buddy) Johnston.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 60 years, Delbert (Bra) Lowery; a son, Dale Lowery of Woodside, Pa.; her devoted daughter, Linda and her husband, Richard Oberlechner of High House, Pa.; five grandchildren, Tina Pulice Loring, Samuel (Sammy) Pulice and Tony Pulice and Donny Dale Lowery and Kevin Lowery. She was also a great-grandmother of seven. Also surviving are two sisters, Wanda Fazenbaker and Judy Martin of Hays, Pa.; and one brother, Harry Johnston of Smithfield, Pa.

The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church St., Fairchance, Pa., today until 10 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Sharyn Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
