Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Eggers, Coldren, 96, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, May 22, 2003, in Pursivant Hospital, UPMC, Pittsburgh. She was born July 10, 1918, in Tulsa, Okla., to the late William and Lenore Lytle Foreman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Coldren, in 1998.

Betty graduated from Morgantown High School, Class of 1936, and the Pittsburgh Art Institute. She was a former member of Aglow Women Fellowship, Christian Women, Uniontown Art Club and the Uniontown Motor Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Rachel Shaffer and husband, Robert of Alliance, Ohio, C. Beth Williams and husband, Bart of Gibsonia, Pa., and Allyson McDermott of South Hills, Pa.; a son, Charles Eggers of Lancaster, Pa.; a stepson, David Coldren and wife, Nora of Waynesburg, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren..
