Donald Irvin Conaway Sr., age 65, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Monday, May 26, 2003 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. He was born September 22, 1937 in Elliottsville, Pa., son of the late Sylvester E. Conaway and Blanche Lake Conaway.

Mr. Conaway was a member of Farmington Free Methodist Church, a Veteran of the United States Navy, retired after 43 years and 91/2 months from Rockwell International and Invensys Inc., and graduated from Uniontown Area High School Class of 1956.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Henning Conaway; Children: Donald I. Conaway Jr. and wife, Robin, of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, Donna Lynn Galeone and husband, Craig, of Fenwick Island, Delaware, Darla Mollichelli of Berlin, Maryland, and Daren Conaway and wife, Debbie, of Blacksville, West Virginia; five Grandchildren: Derek Conaway, Dylan Conaway, Michael Mollichelli, Lauren Mollichelli, and Callie Jo Conaway; Brothers and Sisters: Charles E. Conaway and wife, Janet, of Allentown, Pa., Virginia Marker and husband, James, of Farmington, Pa., Arnold Conaway and wife, Nadine, of Elkton, Virginia, Rhoda Jane Thomas and husband, Eugene, of Clear Spring, Maryland, Pauline Burnworth and husband, Douglas, of Confluence, Pa., and Twila Livengood and husband, Wendy, of Walnut Bottom, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews; and his first wife, Dottie Branigan of Morgantown, West Virginia.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF FARMINGTON, Pa., on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Visitation continues Thursday, May 29, in Farmington Free Methodist Church from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon. Services will begin at Noon with the Rev. Dale Rexrode officiating.

Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery.
