Testimony begins On Tuesday, Fayette County jurors began hearing testimony in the home invasion lodged against Anderson D. Gregg of Lemon Street, Uniontown.

Gregg, 22, is accused of aggravated assault, theft and terroristic threats for allegedly taking part in a forced entry at a Sylvanus Avenue, North Union Township, home on May 5.

Gregg and two other men allegedly forced their way into the home, where Eric Shawn Smitley and Jason Christopher Adamansky were, and took money, jewelry and a shot gun. Before the men left, state police said Smitley fled and one of the men fired a gun at him.

Gregg was arrested after one of the men reportedly involved in the break-in told police the names of the other two men.

First Trial Assistant District Attorney Joseph M. George Jr. is prosecuting the case. Assistant Public Defender David Kaiser represents Gregg.

President Judge Conrad B. Capuzzi is presiding over the trial.

Man found guilty

Fayette County jurors found a Uniontown man guilty of possession, possession with intent to deliver and delivery of drugs Tuesday in court.

Christopher Richardson, of 35 Connellsville St. sold drugs to an undercover state police trooper on June 27, 2000.

Trooper James Wicker, acting in an undercover capacity, bought $40 of crack from Richardson in the South Hill Terrace housing project in Brownsville. After the buy, Richardson allegedly gave Wicker his pager number and told him to call if he needed more drugs.

According to court records, Richardson sold police .38 grams of crack.

Assistant District Attorney Mark D. Brooks prosecuted the case. Attorney Jack W. Connor defended Richardson.
