Betty Jean Shriver, 69, of Prosperity, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, in Beverly Health Care, Waynesburg. Mrs. Shriver graduated from Trinity High School, was a cook at the Ramada Inn in Washington, and loved to play bingo.

Surviving are six children, Lynn Bird, Denny Shriver, Mike Shriver, Karen Skertich, Patty Shriver and Ben Shriver, all of West Union; five grandchildren; a sister, Paulette Knox of Claysville; three brothers, Bob Hickman of Washington, Chuck Hickman of Sycamore, and Ed Hickman of Monroeville; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson.
