Butts-Brady

Faith Bible Church, Connellsville, was the setting for the marriage of Diana Lynn Brady and Samuel David Butts, both of Smock. The Rev. Barry Witt heard the exchange of marriage vows on Sept. 27.

The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Brady of Connellsville. The bridegroom’s parents are Donna Hayes of Connellsville and George Butts of Connellsville.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown with empire waistline, sweetheart neckline and semi-cathedral train adorned with Alencon lace and beads. A crystal headpiece held an ivory veil.

Carolyn Dillon was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Brady, Amy Albright, Lori Richter and Sandy Eckels. Brenna Butts was flower girl.

Cliff Butts was best man. Ushers were Ray DeWitt, Chris DeWitt, Bill Lampus and James Williams. Seth Richter was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Stone House Inn, Farmington.

The bride graduated from Connellsville Area High School and Slippery Rock University. She is an elementary teacher with the Connellsville Area School District.

Her husband is a graduate of Burgettstown Area High School and is a conductor for CSX Railroad.

The newlyweds are residing in Smock following a honeymoon to Niagra Falls, Canada.
