Gary R. Smith, 56, of Mount Pleasant R. D. 7, Pa., who graduated in 1965 from Southmoreland High School, received an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology from Vale Tech in Blairsville, Pa., former Auto Body Technician (12 years) with Eastgate Chrysler Dodge, Greensburg, Bazzy Chrysler Plymouth, Mount Pleasant (10 years), and worked at United States Steel’s Clairton Works (11 years), died unexpectedly Friday morning, November 7, 2003 in H. C. Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. On January 26, 1968 he married Lois J. Buggs Smith, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister: Ronald Smith, Everson, Pa., Barbara “B Smith” Gasby and husband, Daniel Gasby, New York City, New York, and Dennis Smith and wife, Marian, Everson, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

Family will greet Friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 1 to 9 p.m. and Monday, November 10, until the Service at 11 a.m.
