Zephyre I. Taylor
Zephyre I. (Snookie) Kurtz Taylor of Houghton Lake, Mich., formerly of Star Junction, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Mercy Manor, Grayling, Mich. She was born March 2, 1914, in Pittsburgh, Pa., daughter of the late David and Marie Clark Kurtz.
Surviving are two sons, James D. Taylor and wife, Maxine of Houghton Lake, Mich., and David L. Taylor and wife, Judith of Cranberry Township, Pa.; four grandchildren, Scott D. Taylor and wife, Cindy S. of Wilmington, Ohio, Melissa D. Martinosky and husband, Martin Jr., of Greensburg, Pa., Kristen E. Kent James and husband, Joseph R. of Erie, Pa., and Sherri L. Taylor of Cranberry Township, Pa.; six great-grandchildren, Zachary S. and Mark D. Taylor of Wilmington, Ohio, Mckenna N. and Matthew J. Martinosky of Greensburg,, Pa., and David J. Kent and Victoria E. James of Erie, Pa.; and many loving and caring friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight H. Taylor on April 6, 1995.
There will be no public visitation.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Family suggests memorial gifts may be made to Star Junction United Methodist Church, Star Junction, PA 15482, or Animal Friends, Pittsburgh, Pa. Arrangements are under the direction of the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence St., Perryopolis, Pa.
