Frank L. Polander
Frank L. Polander, 67, of Carmichaels, Pa., passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 15, 2003. He was born on April 18, 1936 in Crucible, Pa., son of John and Dora (Kmetz) Polander.
He was a member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church in Carmichaels.
Frank was an excellent example of what a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather is and will be very sadly missed!
He operated his own business, Frank Polander Auto Sales, for many years.
He loved being outdoors, gardening, camping, hunting and his Labrador Retrievers.
Four brothers, James, William, Robert and Louie Polander, his sister, Pauline Russo, and parents preceded him in death.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Mary, his cherished daughter, Kathleen Leicshen and her husband Nick of Coral Springs, Florida, and his beloved grandson, Damian Ferek of Carmichaels, Pa.
He is also survived by children, Michael Renzi, Peggy, Angela and Carmen Renzi; and grandchildren: Julyan, Brock, Diane, Eric and Marc.
Also surviving are his brother, John Polander of Dover, Pa.; his sisters: Dolores Menhart of Carmichaels and Irene Menhart of Crucible, Pa.; sisters-in-law: Martha Polander and Gloria Polander; several nieces, nephews, friends; and his favorite Lab, Sally.
Friends will be received in the PAUL MICHAEL LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Paul M. Lesako, Supervisor and Funeral Director, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 19, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Crucible, Pa.
