Thelma J. Roberts Venneri
Thelma J. Roberts Venneri, 70, of Belle Vernon, Pa., died Friday, November 14, 2003 in her home.
A daughter of the now late Oscar and Halla (Easton) Roberts, she was born in Murphy, North Carolina, on November 21, 1932.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Belle Vernon.
Mrs. Venneri had resided in Belle Vernon for over 50 years and retired from the former Kroger Grocery Store in Rostraver Township.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis E. Venneri in 1994, three brothers, Oscar, Burnett and James Warner Roberts, and parents.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene V. “Vic” Venneri; a daughter, Jesse Venneri of Indiatlantic, Florida; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Charles R. and Suzanne Venneri of Jefferson Township, Pa.; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Patty Roberts of Charleroi, Pa.; a sister, Cora Lee Betler of Largo, Florida; and two granddaughters: Katie Venneri and Emily Venneri of Jefferson Township.
Friends will be received in the SHELBY D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., A Golden Rule Member Firm, 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, Pa., (724-929-5300) today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 18, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Tim McConville officiating.
Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
