Ellen Cardarelli White
Ellen Cardarelli White of Republic, Pa., passed away Friday November 21, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Thompson, Pa., a daughter of Augustus Cardarelli and Olivia Proetti Cardarelli.
Ellen was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Republic, and Catholic Daughters of America Court 1141 Brownsville, and was retired from Brownsville Area School District where she had taught Science, Chemistry and Gifted Children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Leslie White, in 1972, a son, Richard “Dickie” White, a grandson, John Frazier, and parents.
Surviving are Children: Jack White and his wife Joanne of Troutville, Virginia, Olivia White Frazier of Republic, Pa., and Ron White and his wife Verla of Centerville, Pa.; Grandchildren: Ron White and wife Terry, Jason White and wife Melanie, Michael Frazier, Don Frazier, Jocelyn White, Jared White and Jason McClusky; Great Grandsons: Ron White III and Dalton White; and a Brother, Gus Cardarelli of Republic.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., 19 Legion Street, Republic, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday, November 24, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Republic, with Rev. Fr. James Clark as Celebrant.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
A Parish Wake Service will be held today at 3 p.m.
Catholic Daughters of America Court 1141 Brownsville will recite the Rosary today at 3:30 p.m.
