Robert C. Rulong, age 85, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, November 20, 2003 in UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh, Pa. He retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers and was a Veteran of World War II.

His wife, Evelyn Cales Rulong, and son, William Rulong, preceded him in death.

He is survived by a special friend, Tessie Grant; three Children: Shelley Ellis, Simi Valley, California, Terry Donley, York, Pa., and Roberta Lewis, Crucible, Pa.; and several Grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 680 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, Pa., today from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Thomas Brown officiating.

Full Military Honors will be accorded by General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood, Pa.
