John P. Fani
John Patrick Fani, 44, of Connellsville, Pa., formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, Nov. 23, 2003, in the Highlands Hospital. Born Aug. 30, 1959, he was the son of Joseph A. Fani of Uniontown, and the late Marlene Fani, who passed away May 13, 2003.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph A. Fani Jr., and his infant sister, Karen Fani; and also his grandfather, Pete Fani.
John was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church and the Slovak Club.
He is survived by his beloved father, Joseph A. Fani; his loving children, April Lynn Fani of Uniontown, and John Patrick Fani Jr., of Brownsville, Pa.; his fianc?e, Linda Patricia Bartley and her daughter, Jennifer; his Aunts and Uncles, Irene and Carmen Galderisi of Lemont Furnace, Pa., Peter and Barbara Fani, Samuel and Donna Fani and Julia and Robert Sible, all of Uniontown; his sister-in-law, Bernadette “Bunny” Fani; his beloved grandmother, Ann Fani of Oliver, Pa.; and several cousins, friends and neighbors.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday until 9 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held, followed by a 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Kenneth J. Zaccagnini as celebrant. Interment will be private for the family.
