Vanderbilt woman thankful for ‘receiving the best father’
I am thankful for receiving the best father. From the moment he first smiled and held me, till the day he cried to walk me down the aisle and give me away, I’ve always and will always feel his love. I am thankful that he shared the wisdom learned by mistakes. I’m thankful that he rode my back through teenage years to lead me down the right path, all the while having the courage to stand back and watch me make my own mistakes.
Thankful that I always knew after those mistakes I could come back home to his security. Thankful that he molded me into whom I am today. Now I can be a parent and teach them to be a thankful person as well.
