Alex Arkhipova and Todd Gaujot were married Sept. 6 at the Gaujot family residence in Morgantown, W.Va., with the Rev. Dr. Peter Keith officiating. The bride is the daughter of Lyubov and Valeri Arkhipova of Donetsk, Ukraine.

She is a 1996 honor graduate of Donetsk Art College with a degree in fine arts. She is employed in the operations department at Gabriel Brothers corporate offices.

The bridegroom is the son of Phillip and Carol Gaujot and the grandson of Sally Cooley and the late George Cooley of Smithfield.

He is a 1992 graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in political science and a 1997 graduate of John Marshall Law School. He is employed in the legal department of Mylan Pharmaceuticals.

Bridesmaids were Anastasia Mischerko, Kristin Dale, Jocelyn Smith and Sandi Voskian. Flower girls were Alli Rogers, Brogan Rogers and Karrie Beth Schaefer.

Best man was Ryan Gaujot and groomsmen were Jeff Kirkwood, Mark Rogers, Chris Skolka and Greg Tobias.

A garden reception was held at the Gaujot residence on Cheat Lake.
