Uniontown J. Michael Crosby, 56, formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died at 3:15 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2003, at his home in Mount Lebanon, Pa.

Crosby was a Veteran of Army service in Europe, a swimming instructor and competitor, and was associated with Schlindler Elevator Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Frances (Doorley) Crosby, and his twin sister, Ann Crosby Lindner.

Surviving are two brothers, Dr. Thomas C. Crosby of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Roger F. Crosby of Edgewater, New Jersey; a stepdaughter, Jessica Strachan of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a special friend, Sarah Kennedy of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three nieces; one nephew; uncles and aunts.

Friends will be received at the LAUGHLIN FUNERAL HOME, Mount Lebanon, Pa., on Wednesday, October 15, from 5 to 7 p.m.
