Upper Tyrone Twp. Vehicle fire

The Everson Volunteer Fire Department and mutual aid EMS responded to a vehicle fire at 296 Everson Valley Road at 1:29 a.m. Sunday, according to the Fayette County 911 Center.

The vehicle was endangering a structure at the time of the fire call.

Chimney fire

The Farmington, Ohiopyle and Springfield Township volunteer fire departments responded to a chimney fire at 364 Bell Grove Road at 11:42 a.m. Sunday, according to the Fayette County 911 Center.

Fayette EMS assisted at the scene.

Criminal mischief

The window on a cap for a Ford pickup truck was broken at a home on Blosser Hill Road extension between 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

The owner is A.C. Cook of Lake Lynn.

Mount Pleasant Twp.

Deer struck

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on Route 31 eastbound at 12:14 p.m. Sunday, state police at Greensburg said.

A vehicle, driven by Paul Stephenson, 27, of Pittsburgh, was traveling on the road when police said a deer jumped in front of the vehicle. The car sustained moderate front-end damage, police said.

Neither Stephenson nor passenger Patricia Dye, 35, of Connellsville were injured, police said.

South Union Twp.

Hit-and-run

No injuries were reported in a hit-and-run accident in the parking lot of Gabriel Brothers at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

A pickup truck, possibly a GMC model, struck an unattended 2003 Toyota Tacoma, causing minor damage, and then fled the scene, police said. The driver was described as a white female in her teens or early 20s.

North Union Twp.

DUI arrest

Jessica Crescini, 25, address unavailable, was arrested for driving under the influence following an accident at the intersection of Bute Road and Gallatin Avenue at 3:01 a.m. Monday, state police said.

Crescini allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign, went through the intersection and struck a tree. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, police said.

A passenger, Trudy Burkett, 40, suffered minor injuries, police said.

Vehicle found

A green, 1995 Mitsubishi Galant was found abandoned and severely damaged along Pleasant View Road, state police said.

The vehicle was abandoned between 12:01 and 7 a.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Trooper Daniel W. Ekis at 724-439-7111.

Teens cited

Two teenagers were cited for underage drinking at a location on Amity Drive at 5 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Stanley B. Chapman, 18, of Dunbar and a 17-year-old Vanderbilt male were cited.

Burglary attempted

A shed on Krulock Road was entered and someone attempted to steal a riding lawn mower from inside between 3 and 3:45 a.m. Friday, state police said.

The owner is Albert Packan, 62, of Uniontown.

Bullskin Twp.

Windshield damaged

A Connellsville woman allegedly threw a log into a vehicle on Rich Hill Road, damaged the windshield, at 9 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

The owner of the vehicle is Linda J. Knight of Connellsville.

Pumpkins smashed

Larry Goisse of rear West Main Street reported to city police at 7:33 p.m. Saturday that someone took and smashed two pumpkins from his porch between 2 and 3 a.m.

Truck damaged

Henry Bungard of Uniontown reported to city police at 5:06 p.m. Saturday that he was driving up Douglas Street when someone threw a rock at his truck, scratching it.

Flags stolen

An American flag and a POW/MIA flag were taken from the Catholic War Veterans on East Main Street sometime between 3 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday, city police said.

Tires cut

Salvatrice Pitruzzella reported to city police at 11:52 p.m. Saturday that four tires on her vehicle were slashed while it was in the parking lot of the Highland House.

Man cited

Stephen Todd Lewis of Uniontown was cited for public drunkenness and harassment for an incident that occurred at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, city police said.

Lewis allegedly approached Joseph Miller on the street and slapped him.

Pappa John’s Pizza manager Sue Hollowood reported to city police at 9:41 p.m. Saturday that someone shot a paintball at the front window of the store on East Fayette Street.

Man arrested

Bradley Aaron Fite, 29, of Illinois was arrested for public drunkenness and carrying a false identification following an incident on Morgantown Street at 2 a.m. Monday, city police said.

Police alleged Fite was discovered on Morgantown Street to have a false identification. He was arrested and taken to the office of District Justice Herbert Mitchell for arraignment.

Woman charged

According to state police, Amber Cox of Waynesburg was charged with disorderly conduct at 2:40 p.m. Friday.

Candles stolen

State police said someone stole candles from the BFS Truck Stop on Bald Hill Road at 3:50 p.m. Saturday.

Man charged

State police said a man was charged with simple assault after allegedly hitting his wife several times in the face at 5 p.m. Oct. 4
