Michael Joseph Swaney, 17, of Shoaf, Smithfield, Pa., died Friday, October 17, 2003. He was born July 19, 1986 in Uniontown, Pa.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert L. Jurosco Sr., and paternal grandparents, Clayton and Jean Swaney.

Surviving are his mother, Kimberly Jurosco of Shoaf, Pa., and his father, Joseph John Swaney of Hautzdale, Pa.; two brothers: Brandan Swaney of Shoaf and John Ryan Swaney at home; maternal grandmother, Sandra Dunn Jurosco, Footedale, Pa.; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 4 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, October 21, until 9 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m,. in Ss. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Fairchance, with the Rev. Fr. David Nazimek as Celebrant.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory in care of the Whitmarsh Funeral Home, Fairchance, PA 15436.
