Emma Catharine Wishart Rechenberg, R.N.
Emma Catharine Wishart Rechenberg, R.N., 91, of Dunbar, Pa., passed away Thursday, October 23, 2003 in Lafayette Manor, Uniontown, Pa.
She was born July 28, 1912 in Dunbar, Pa., daughter of Andrew Wishart and Florence Ellen Wyatt Wishart.
Emma graduated from the former Dunbar Township High School Class of 1930 and the former Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1933 and was a Registered Nurse on private duty.
Emma was a member of Dunbar Presbyterian Church.
A brother, Andrew Wishart, sister, Florence Capatosto, and parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Paul E. Rechenberg, whom she married October 12, 1935; children: Margaret Miller of Dawson, Pa., Paul Rechenberg and wife, Dorothy, of Honey Brook, Pa., Richard Rechenberg and wife, Linda, of Dunbar, and June Graham and husband, Walter, of Farmington, Pa.; a brother-in-law, Mario Capatosto of Dunbar; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held Monday, October 27, at 10 a.m. in Dunbar Presbyterian Church with Dr. John K. Sharp officiating. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH.
