O’Brien-Kokolis
Ellen Marie Kokolis and Scott Allan O’Brien, both of Blairsville, were united in marriage on May 24 at Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville. The Rev. Charles O’Brien, father of the bridegroom, officiated the service.
The bride’s parents are Peter E. and Ellen Jane Kokolis of Blairsville. Parents of the bridegroom are the Rev. Charles and Ruth O’Brien, also of Blairsville.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore an A-line dress with spaghetti straps, beaded neckline and waist and slightly flared skirt with chiffon overlay. A floral-beaded comb held a long veil adorned with seed pearls.
Jennifer Bagdes-Canning was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Justine Blout and Jennifer O’Brien.
Best man was Michael O’Brien. Ushers were James Balsone and Charles Ray O’Brien.
A reception was held at the Blue Angel’s Restaurant in Latrobe.
The bride is a graduate of Blairsville High School and St. Vincent College, Latrobe. She is employed with the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
The bridegroom is also a graduate of Blairsville High School and Penn State University. He is employed with PennDOT, Uniontown.
The couple honeymooned at Seven Springs Resort, Champion, and are residing at South 10th St., Youngwood.
