Bernard Soft
Bernard Soft, 86, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, September 13, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born September 24, 1916 in Tower Hill Two, Fayette County, Pa., son of Dominick Soft and Lena Lewis Soft.
Bernard retired as a Coal Miner and was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose No. 20 in Uniontown.
He was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle and will be greatly missed by his Family and Friends!
Three brothers, Daniel Softa, Joseph Softa, James Softa, two sisters, Mary Renner and Jenny Gmitter, and parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Arnetta Malone Soft; three daughters: Annet Bailey, California state, Bernadine Soft, Uniontown, Pa., and Lena Soft, Uniontown, Pa.; four Grandchildren: Brittany Soft, Dylan Soft, Scott Fraley, and Tammy Fraley; one great Grandson; Brothers and Sisters: Albert Softa of Uniontown, Pa., Frank Softa and wife, Shirley, of West Lerisenring, Pa., Rose King of Hacienda, California, Mrs. Joseph (Lucy) Bemke of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Pauline Gasper of Upper Middletown, Pa., Mrs. James (Gloria) Molman of Detroit, Michigan, Francis Softa of Upper Middletown, Pa., also Pam Prough of Greenville, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, September 17, until 10 a.m. when a Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel with Metropolitan Archbishop Paul W. Seese, D.D., and Arch Deacon Andrew Clark of St. Michael Orthodox Church officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
