Jean Salveson, 77, of Richmond, Va., and formerly of Brownsville, Pa., died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at her home.

She was born Jan. 31, 1926, in Brownsville, Pa., daughter of the late Ralph and Anna Kuty Lucas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chuck) Salveson.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Salveson Davis and her husband, Ken of Richmond, Va.; two granddaughters, Cyndi and husband, Ernie Stanley and Marcie and husband, Greg Ecroyd; five great-grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel, Ross and Shannon Stanley and Ryleigh Ecroyd; a sister, Patty Knight of Brownsville, Pa.; two nieces, Nancy Ritz and Karyn Ross; one nephew, Ralph Knight; her best friend, Macy; and the friends at Westhampton Dialysis Center.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in the Historic Church of St. Peter, with the Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as celebrant. Interment in LaFayette Memorial Park.
