On Saturday, September 27, 2003, Gregory Stephen Sich, 49, of Isabella, Pa., lost his courageous battle with cancer, his loving Family at his bedside.

Greg was an avid Bicyclist and Fisherman and devoted his life to raising his two stepchildren.

He was an employee of Center Independent Oil Company.

Greg was born September 28, 1953 to Charles and Kathryn Sich.

His parents, his grandson, Vinnie Angelo III, and nephew, Jeffrey Novak, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Rable Sich; stepdaughter, Chantel, and stepson, Vinnie; grandson, Lucas Harn; granddaughter, Mia Angelo; sister, Jackie Novak and her husband, Ron, of Lancaster, Pa.; brother, Carl Sich of Brownsville, Pa.; nieces and nephews: Lori Wolgemuth and her husband, Steve, of Manheim, Pa., Carl Sich and his wife, Patty, of Baltimore, Maryland, and Chris Herrmann and her husband, Bob, of Hamstead, Maryland; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Betty Rable of Isabella, Pa.; and many other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, September 30, until 10:30 a.m.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. in Jacobs Evangelical Lutheran Church, Masontown R. D. 1, Pa., with the Rev. Jack E. Hernstrom officiating.

Interment will follow in Jacobs Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded by General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vinnie Angelo III Memorial Scholarship Fund or the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in memory of Greg Sich and Vinnie Angelo III in care of Gloria Sich at Post Office Box 299, Merrittstown, PA 15463.
