Timothy Woods Jr., 80, of Palmer, Pa., passed away Monday, April 26, 2004, in Uniontown Hospital. He was born March 6, 1924, in Sumpter, S.C., son of the late Timothy Woods R., and Sarah McQuillar Woods.

Tim was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Fairchance, Pa, and many other groups and organizations.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Vennie; two sisters, Ann Seary and Martha Jones; and two brothers, John and Waverly Woods.

Surviving are his wife, Rosemary Woods; children, Carolyn Petty Martin of Forestville, Md., David Alexander and wife, Catherine of Portland, Ore., and Jonese Murray and husband, Brian of Owings Mills, Md.; four grandchildren, Rachel and Alexis Murray and Oija and Gregory Alexander; one brother, James; a sister-in-law, Rosalie of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Sarah Kirby of Palmer, Pa., and Shirley Mae Woods of Jamaica, N.Y.; a close friend, Luenell Petty of Palmer, Pa.; and a host of family and friends.

Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main St., Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, April 30, 2004, from 5 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Robert Crable officiating. Interment in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
