Beatrice N. Guynn, 72, of Vanderbilt (Dunbar Township), Pa., died Wednesday, April 28, 2004, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. She was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Dunbar Township, a daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Clark Upton.

Mrs. Guynn was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, Leisenring and the Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her husband, Edward S. Guynn; one son, John Guynn and his wife, Pam of Connellsville; five daughters, Ruth Ann Tabaj and her husband, John of Dunbar, Cecelia Brown and her husband, Jimmy of Vanderbilt, Delores Martray and her husband, Kenny of Vanderbilt, Mary Wilson and her husband, Bill and Lola Hardy and her husband, Bill, all of Connellsville; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Leonard Upton and his wife, Virginia of Dunbar, Ivan Upton and his wife, Jeanine of Flint, Mich., George Upton and his wife, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Harvey Upton and his wife of Point Marion; and one sister, Delores Mazurick of Little Summit.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Roy, Walter and Warren Upton..
