Joseph Guerra Jr. of Belle Vernon and Kenneth Hopes of Brownsville suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident along a legislative route in Washington County around 5 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. Both men were wearing seatbelts, police added.

State police said someone stole a 26-inch, 21-speed blue Mongoose bicycle and a Yard Machine push mower from the 116 Municipal Drive residence of Timothy Michael Lint of Everson sometime between 6:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Amplifier stolen

Someone stole an amplifier from a 1986 Honda belonging to Michael Sutton of Fairchance at 116 McDonough Lane at M&M Diesel sometime on Monday, state police said.

Citation issued

State police cited James R. Cullen of Fairchance for trespassing on the property at 210 Woodview Terrace around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Hit-and-run probed

State police said someone operating a Mazda sedan crashed into a utility pole along Route 119 at Gans Hill School Road then fled the scene around 3 a.m. April 5.

Wheels removed

Someone removed the wheels and tires from the 56-year-old Smithfield resident Harry Norman Baer’s 1994 Ford Explorer at 4 Rose Drive sometime between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday, state police said. Police added the wheels and tires are estimated at $450.

Counterfeit bill passed

State police said someone passed a counterfeit $20 bill to a store clerk at the Fairchance Shop ‘n Save located at 58 W. Church St. sometime between 3:30 and 10 p.m. Monday.

ATV stolen

Someone stole a blue 1995 Polaris all-terrain vehicle sometime between 11:30 p.m. April 20 and 6 a.m. April 21, state police said. Police said the quad was being sold by display in the front yard of 1056 New Salem Road in the village of Buffington and belonged to Robert Alan Messenger, 28, of Merrittstown. Police added the value of the quad was around $1,700.

Mailboxes struck

State police said a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Martin Warren Betchy struck three mailboxes and a telephone pole after swerving off Main Street to miss another vehicle around 8 p.m. Tuesday. Police said Betchy was not injured in the accident.

Uniontown

Vehicle accident

City police said Floyd Andrew Morgan, 18, of Morgantown Road, Lake Lynn, spun his car around on Saturday at 11:19 p.m. while traveling south on North Mount Vernon Avenue and hit a tree. He was treated at Uniontown. His front-seat passenger, Wendy Lynn O’Steen, 20, same address, was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. She remains hospitalized in a step-down unit. Two back-seat passengers were not injured.

Richhill Twp.

Rifle stolen

State police said a Sako .300 Winchester magnum rifle, Baush Laumb scope, a bipod and the gray case in which they were kept were stolen from the Bristoria Road residence of John Robert Householder, 26, of Graysville between 1 p.m. April 11 and 7:30 a.m. April 17.
