Barbara M. Dankovic, 89, of Piedmont, Ala., and formerly of Adah, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Riverview Medical Center, Gadsden, Ala. She was born April 23, 1915, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Ezar.

Barbara attended St. Charles Church in Jacksonville, and she was a former member of St. Albert’s Roman Catholic Church, Palmer, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Dankovic, in 1967.

Surviving are sons, Robert Dankovic of Kadiz, Ken., John J. Dankovic Jr., of Somerset, Ken., and William Dankovic of Piedmont, Ala.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, today from 6 to 9 p.m., and Friday until 10:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 11 a.m., in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. Donald P. Trexler as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone. A Wake Service will be held today at 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Piedmont Rescue Squad, PO Box 333, Piedmont, AL., 36272.
