“Nothing is impossible,” Fayette County Commissioner Joe Hardy told a group of third-graders at D. Ferd Swaney Elementary School on Thursday. Hardy said he was touched that the students took time to write letters to him regarding Fayette County, and he wanted to show his appreciation. Here, Hardy shakes hands with student Matthew Zack. Hardy encouraged the young students to live out their dreams and to stay honest. Although there were few questions, Hardy told the attentive children short stories about his own daughters and Fayette County. Before he left, every student was presented with a stuffed animal and a ski pass to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa as a token of his appreciation.
