North Union Twp. Vehicle stolen

State police said Goodwill Fayette Auto Auction reported a vehicle stolen from its 107 Romeo Lane lot between Nov. 19 and Wednesday.

Theft reported

Nancy J. Dean of Hopwood told state police that between Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon her car was broken into along Coolspring-Jumonville Road and various items were taken.

Burglary reported

State police are investigating a Wednesday burglary at Delia Melton’s 228 Edison Blvd. home. Police said Melton got home around 9:15 p.m. and found her door forced open. Money was taken. Police are looking to question a 25- to 30-year-old man who was in the area driving a white truck, going door-to-door selling frozen fish and beef.

South Union Twp.

Bike found

State police said a bicycle was found in front of the Belmont Inn on Nov. 29, and can be claimed at the barracks.

North Union Twp.

Accident reported

State police are investigating a hit-and-run accident along North Gallatin Avenue on Nov. 28. Mark Solesky of Lemont Furnace told police that a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee hit his vehicle as he was trying to turn into a driveway.

The driver of the Jeep left the scene.

Connellsville Twp.

Property found

State police found a Pepsi Cola vending machine along Breakneck Road on Wednesday around 7 a.m. Police said it was taken from the rear of Southmoreland Elementary School in Scottdale.

Uniontown

Car stolen

Tony M. Gallis, 73, of Uniontown told state police that a Buick LaSabre was stolen from in front of his Grandview Drive home between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Gas stolen

State police said $38.67 in gasoline was pumped, but not paid for Thursday afternoon at the Gas and Go in Connellsville. A similar report was made when someone pumped $24.51 in gas at the Uniontown Sheetz on Wednesday and left without paying.

Accident reported

State police said Sharon Hower of Masontown swerved to miss hitting a deer and hit a utility pole along Ronco Road on Nov. 29.

North Union Twp.

Crash reported

State police said Vincent Good of Uniontown was uninjured in a car accident along Route 119 Tuesday morning. Good hit a deer, police said.

South Union Twp.

Lights cut

David A. Rusko of Farmview Drive, Uniontown, told state police that his Christmas lights were cut between 12:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

German Twp.

Theft reported

Gilbert L. Ohler, 21, of McClellandtown, told state police that his Herald-Standard newspaper box was stolen from outside his Messmore Road home on Nov. 27.

Georges Twp.

Burglary reported

State police said a Play Station 2 and games were stolen from the Rose Garden, Strickland Estates home of William B. Miller between Nov. 28 and 30.

Springhill Twp.

Man arrested

State police said Charles Jacob Boord, 19, of Point Marion was arrested for burglary after he allegedly broke into Larry Jeffries’ Point Marion home on Nov. 27 and stole electronics and clothing.

Police said charges are pending against a 17-year-old, who will be charged as a juvenile.

Georges Twp.

Man injured

State police said John Alexander, 68, of Masontown, sustained serious injuries after a two-vehicle accident along Route 857 on Tuesday. Alexander was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

The driver of the second vehicle was identified as Kimberly Henckel, 45, of Fairchance. She sustained moderate injuries and was treated at the Uniontown Hospital.

South Union Twp.

Theft reported

State police said a white woman with shoulder-length brown hair reached over the counter at the Dairy Mart on Hopwood-Fairchance Road and took $100 from the register for the lottery machine on Nov. 27.

The clerk was in the back of the store at the time, police said.

Police investigate

Police are investigating the following unrelated incidents:

– A Nov. 27 incident when an unknown individual driving a late ’70s or early ’80s light blue, 2-door Oldsmobile drove away from the Sheetz Convenience Store on West Crawford Avenue without paying $16.02 for gasoline.

– A Nov. 26 incident when someone removed state registration plate EJD9013 from a Pontiac Grand Am that was parked at Vincent’s Auto Body Shop on Morrell Avenue.

– The Nov. 26 theft of a 2003 Honda TRX 400 quad from a Route 201 storage facility.

– The Nov. 25 burglary that occurred at People’s Home Equity Mortgage, 172 W. Crawford Ave., when someone forcibly entered the business. Police said nothing was taken from the business.

– A Nov. 25 robbery of the Honey Bear Sunoco Station located on Snyder Street. Police said a white male entered the story demanding the attendant give him money. The attendant described the man as having a thin build, blonde hair and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and glasses. He fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

– A Nov. 26 attempted robbery of the Graft Sunoco Station located at 811 McCormick Ave., when a masked man, appearing to be armed demanded money from the attendant. The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build and blonde hair and wearing glasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a gray mask.

– The Nov. 25 theft of gasoline from the Sheetz Convenience Store located on West Crawford Avenue. Police said the driver of a black Oldsmobile Bravada left the station without paying $32.40 for gasoline. Police have obtained a description of the occupants of the vehicle and a license plate number.

– The Dec. 1 robbery at Graft’s Sunoco Station located on Memorial Boulevard. Police said that a black male, approximately 6-feet tall and wearing a black ski mask, blue hooded sweatshirt and tan jacket and boots approached the attendant and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.

– The theft of surgical items from an East Gibson Avenue residence during the past few weeks.

– The Dec. 1 burglary at Whites Vending located on West Peach Street. Police said money and soda were taken during the incident.

– The Nov. 30 burglary that occurred at a residence located in the 600 block of Highland Avenue. Police said a Sony Playstation II and cordless screwdriver in a red and black plastic case was removed from the home.

– The Nov. 29 theft of items from a vehicle that was parked in a West Crawford Avenue parking lot. Police said that cash, a checkbook, credit cards and needles were taken from the vehicle.

– A Nov. 28 theft and criminal mischief incident at Greenwood Heights where Christmas decorations were stolen and damaged.

– The Nov. 28 theft of an outdoor white Christmas tree from a Greenwood Heights apartment tenant.

– The Nov. 28 theft of a Cricket cell phone from a vehicle parked along North 11th Street.

Woman charged

Police filed charges of harassment against Sandra Pealer, 39, after she allegedly struck an unidentified juvenile during a Nov. 26 incident at Gibson Terrace. Police said that the juvenile was not injured.

Public drunkenness

Police filed charges of public drunkenness against Tammy Lea Geary, 41, after she was allegedly found at a West Crawford Avenue bar in an intoxicated condition and involved in a disturbance on Nov. 27.
