Cora Flanigan Hazelbaker, age 85, formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, December 2, 2004, in Country Meadows Nursing Center, Bridgeville, Pa.

She was born February 26, 1919, in Lemont Furnace, Pa.

Mrs. Hazelbaker was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Past Worthy Matron Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 178, a former employee of the former Kart’s Clothing Store, and had been a dedicated volunteer at Uniontown Hospital.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Raymond Jacob Hazelbaker on January 4, 2004, and two sisters, Ruth and Leona.

Surviving are three sons: Raymond William Hazelbaker and his wife, Eloise B. Hazelbaker, and Gary Lee Hazelbaker and his wife, Carole Hazelbaker, all of Bethel Park, Pa., and David Jacob Hazelbaker and his wife, Cheryl Lynn Hazelbaker, of Coraopolis, Pa.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Flanigan of Champaign, Illinois.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, December 6, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Maryann Long officiating.

Entombment will follow in Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.

Uniontown Chapter No. 263 Order of the Eastern Star will hold services in the Funeral Home this evening at 7:30 p.m.
