Susan L. Vonsik, 60, of California, Pa., died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004. She was born May 13, 1944, in Brownsville, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Julia (Andras) McDonald.

She was the California Area Tax Collector and a long-time hairdresser.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Vonsik in 1994; and her brother, Bill McDonald.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children: a son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Alison Vonsik of Orlando, Fla., and daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Tony Gallo of California, Pa.; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Sergei Tuday of Brownsville Pa.; four grandchildren, Brittany and Justin Vonsik and Julianna and Kathryn Gallo.

Friends were received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California Pa., on Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 7 to 9 p.m., and will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and until 11 a.m., on Thursday, when services will be held in the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Min and Fr. Mark Skertich co-officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
