Abe J. Feigus, 98, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at the Cumberland Nursing Home in Cumberland, Md. At his request, Abe will be buried alongside his parents and brothers in Hopwood, Pa. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Holy Society-Chevra-Kadisha Cemetery, Bennington Road, Hopwood, Pa., with Rabbi Dr. Perry Haalman, officiant. A celebration of his long and good life will be held in Cumberland with a date to be announced. Arrangements are being handled by the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, Md., and the J. HARRY JOHNSTON FUNERAL HOME, 65 North Gallatin Aveune, Uniontown, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations to honor Abe Feigus be directed to the Cumberland Public Library, Attention: John Taube, Director, 31 Washington Street, Cumberland, Md., 21502.
