1 min read

No one was injured when a blaze swept through a mobile home in the Holiday Park mobile home court in North Union Township Thursday morning. According to West Leisenring fire officials, no one was home when the station responded to the 9:28 a.m. fire that destroyed at least one room in the trailer and left the remainder with heavy smoke and water damage.

Volunteer fire personnel worked for about an hour to contain the fire and the state police fire marshal is continuing to investigate the cause of the blaze.

In addition to West Leisenring, volunteer fire companies from North Union and Hopwood as well as Fayette EMS responded to the 639 Washington Ave. residence.
