Marty J. Luko
Marty John Luko, 48, of Coal Center, Pa., passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, in Atlanta, Ga. Marty was a freelance graphic designer in New York City, N.Y., and Los Angeles, Calif. He graduated from Indiana University and got a Master’s degree at Pratt University in New York City, N.Y. Marty was a world-class graphic designer designing the ad campaigns and art for some of the biggest hits in Broadway history. He also designed the logo for the World Trade Center and did work for other prestigious buildings.
He is survived by his parents, John and Ethel Luko of Coal Center; a sister, Tami Luko of Chardon, Ohio; a niece; and his husband of 20 years, James Clark of Kingston, N.Y.
Wages & Sons Funeral Home were in charge of his cremation.
