Metherd-Eicher
Jillian Rochelle Eicher of Springfield, Ohio, and Elijah Ashley Metherd of Urbana, Ohio, were married on July 31 at the Fairchance Free Methodist Church. The Rev. Dave Hill of the Northside Baptist Church, Springfield, Ohio, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey L. and Kathy Eicher of High Street, Fairchance. The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Tammy Moorman of Urbana, Ohio, and Charles Metherd of Urbana.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless A-line satin gown with Battenberg lace bodice, organza beading, tulle skirt and chapel-length train. Her headpiece was a rhinestone and pearl accented tiara, which held a fingertip veil accented with pearls and rhinestone.
Maid of honor was Alicia Hepler of Orlando, Fla. Bridesmaids were Sarah Metherd, twin sister of the bridegroom from Urbana, and Rachel Baker, New Stanton. Honor attendant was Pamala Crosby of Springfield, Ohio. Michelle Boysel, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Mark Moorman, stepfather of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Jeffrey L. Eicher Jr., brother of the bride; and Kyle Moorman, stepbrother of the bridegroom. Vincent Williams of Woodbridge, Va., was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Hopwood Social Hall.
The bride graduated in 1998 from Albert Gallatin High School and is a 2002 graduate of Seton Hill College, Greensburg. She is director of dietary services with Springview Developmental Center in Springfield, Ohio, employed by Alladin Food Management in Wheeling, W.Va.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Urbana High School and a 2003 graduate of I.T.T. Tech in Dayton. He is the finance and insurance manager at Buckles Motors in Urbana.
The couple honeymooned on a southern Caribbean cruise to Aruba, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and Dominqua.
They are living on Derr Road in Springfield, Ohio.
