Three robbed
State police said a black man in his early or mid-20s robbed three people at gunpoint Sunday at 6:05 a.m. at the Burger King, Laurel Mall.
Police said the man entered with a small pistol minutes after the restaurant opened and demanded money from Ashley N. Fiano, 19, of Connellsville, Jenna R. Garletts, 19, of Dunbar and Frank Allen Rose, 22, of Dunbar. He forced them into a rear storeroom at gunpoint, but they were not injured, police said. The man escaped with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a medium build, light facial hair and a dark complexion. He was wearing a black hooded top, black jeans and black tennis shoes with red and white trim. Police said they believe he was driving an older model gray or white Mercury sedan.

Woman robbed
State police said they are looking for a man who stole a purse from a 61-year-old woman Sunday at 9:09 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the former Family Toy Warehouse off Matthew Drive. She was placing packages in her vehicle when a black male approached her from behind and grabbed her purse strap and pulled until it broke. He fled with a second suspect who was driving a gold Honda.

Man arrested
State police at Washington said Armand James Pistilli Jr., 32, of 402 Washington St., Bentleyville, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant alleging he struck and killed 15-year-old Alexandra Loos on a state road, about a half-mile east of Chippewa Road, around noon Saturday. He was arraigned before District Justice William Pelkey and placed in the Washington County prison in lieu of $25,000 bond.

Drivers injured
State police said Dave Firestone, 18, and Roy Johnson, 53, were involved in an accident Tuesday on Gimlet Hill Road, about 50 yards south of Mudd School Road, at 8:18 a.m. Firestone was treated for moderate head injuries and Johnson for minor injuries at Frick Hospital. The Bullskin Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted police.

Warrant issued
State police said they have a warrant for the arrest of Joseph Timothy Civit, 44, of Fairchance. He is wanted on simple assault and harassment charges for allegedly assaulting Nancy Kathleen Dicenzo, 36, inside 177 General Drive at 3 a.m. Monday. Police ask anybody with information about Civit to call the station at 724-439-7111.

ATV stolen
Someone cut several locks to enter a garage, lifted a green 2003 Kawasaki KSF 400 all-terrain vehicle owned by Stephen Kovach, 42, of New Salem, over a truck bed and stole it Monday morning before 5 a.m., state police said. Police ask anybody with information about the incident to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Store burglarized
Someone entered New Salem Mini Mart, West Main Street, New Salem, Monday at 1:08 a.m. and stole 10 cartons of cigarettes, 13 individual packs of cigarettes, a box of cigars and $20, state police said.

State police said a Yamaha Banshee all-terrain vehicle owned by Aaron Wagle, 30, of Uniontown was stolen from a garage along Route 40 Saturday between 1 and 6 a.m.

A 1996 Polaris Indy snowmobile owned by Mark Zitney, 36, of Mill Run was stolen from his Baptist Church Road property between Dec. 8 and 12, state police said.

A blue 2003 Yamaha TTR90 owned by Sandra Ileen Burnworth, 61, of Leisenring was stolen from a garage at 28 Taft Ave. between Dec. 6 and 12, state police said.
In a separate incident, police said, someone stole Lynn Rene Thomas’s 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer from the driveway of her North Gallatin Avenue Extension home Dec. 10.

State police said someone broke a window on a car owned by Cynthia Redman, 37, of Clarksville and stole her purse Dec. 9 in a parking lot behind Fayette Head Start on Balsinger Road.

State police said someone broke into a Curry Lumber office trailer Dec. 9 or 10 and stole numerous computers and other property.

State police said someone poured sand into the gas tank of a vehicle owned by Michelle L. Jones of Uniontown at her 90 Redwood Ave. residence Dec. 10 or 11.

Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle owned by Virgil Yarbrough of Uniontown in the Uniontown Mall parking lot on Dec. 10, state police said.

State police said a compact disc player was stolen from a vehicle owned by Gladys M. Leonard of Dunbar on Dec. 8 at 271 Keefer Road.

Two charged
Krista Renae Wilson, 18, of Uniontown and Brent Michael Carbonara, 19, of Uniontown were charged after a disturbance at Eat ‘N Park restaurant Dec. 10, state police said.
After an argument, Wilson threw a milkshake on Carbonara, who threw water on Wilson, police said. Carbonara used profanity as management told him to leave, and Wilson hit Carbonara in the head with a glass, causing swelling and bleeding, police said. Wilson was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, and Carbonara with disorderly conduct.

State police said someone entered the Mine Hill Road residence of Bobbie J. Trump, 37, of Adah on Dec. 9 and ransacked her home. It was not known of anything was stolen.

State police said they are investigating the theft of money from the lunchbox of Jackie Rubenstein, 53, of Uniontown on Dec. 4 in Beechwood Court, Lafayette Manor Road.

State police said a Kodak model DX6440 digital camera and memory card owned by Barbara Simeone Pukul, 57, of Uniontown were stolen during her wedding reception Nov. 27 at The Mansion at Walnut Hill, on Route 982. Police said she is offering a reward for the return of the camera.

State police said $5,544 worth of tools and equipment was stolen from Next Generation Fiberglass, Pittsburgh Road, during a break-in that occurred between Oct. 25 and 27.

Borough police said simple assault and terroristic threat charges were filed against Edward Ballas, 47, of Denbo after Ballas and his girlfriend, Tracy Griffin of Brownsville, were involved in a domestic disturbance Tuesday.
