Glenn R. Tanner, 77, of Waynesburg, Pa., died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home at Waynesburg. On Nov. 26, 1949, he married Freda Conaway Tanner, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Shirley Shannon (Dan) of Waynesburg, and Connie Bird (Kelly) of Pittsburgh; two sons, Terry Tanner (Judi) of Rutan, and Brian Tanner (Mindi) of Waynesburg; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Tanner worked as a carpenter with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 84, and Joiners of America Local 541.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., today and from 1 to 2 p.m., the hour of services on Sunday at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 192 West High St., Waynesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairall United Methodist Church, 1552 Big Shannon Run Rd., Waynesburg, PA 15370.
