Barbara Kutch King

Barbara Kutch King, age 73, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, died Friday, December 10, 2004.

She was born in Connellsville, Pa., on June 17, 1931, daughter of Stephen and Anna (Herrilko) Kutch.

She graduated from the former Dunbar (Pa.) Township High School and also Duff’s Business School, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Barbara worked for several years in Uniontown, Pa., for the former Watson Lumber Company.

She later relocated to Springfield, Ohio, where she worked at Buckeye Incubator as well as taking the position of Assistant Comptroller at Olan Mills. When Olan Mills moved their offices from the Springfield area, Barbara became the Assistant to the President of LeClar Enterprises and was a Purchasing Agent for Western Tool and Manufacturing Company.

She was the only woman appointed to the Springfield Association of Purchasing Agents.

In 1978 her employment with LeClar took her to South Florida where she also worked for the accounting firm of Hinkle & Richter in Pompano Beach. She retired in 2003 after 25 years of service.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Denise Cheney and her husband, Lynn, of Alamogordo, New Mexico; a sister, Dorothy Madarish and her husband, Walter, of Connellsville, Pa.; a brother, Stephen Kutch and his wife, Darlene, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nieces: Darlene Madarish of Connellsville, Pa., and Lisa Montano of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a nephew, Stephen M. Kutch of Los Lunas, New Mexico; a great niece, Darla Montano, and a great nephew, Nick Montano, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Barbara had requested that there be no viewing.

Memorial may be made to a favorite charity in memory of Barbara Kutch King.

Arrangements were entrusted to THE NATIONAL CREMATION SOCIETY.
