State police said a container full of stuffed animals was found on Route 119 near Speedy Meedy’s at 5:50 p.m. Thursday. The owner can claim the container at the police barracks.

Mark Shuder of Connellsville told state police someone stole a Sony DVD player and a DeWalt drill from his 110 Michael Drive residence sometime between 10:50 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Smithfield
Vehicle entered
Jaime Kennison of Smithfield told state police someone entered her unlocked vehicle while parked outside her 12 Maple St. residence and stole $90, a gold necklace and earrings sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.

Tailgate taken
Larry Thomas of Latrobe told state police someone removed the tailgate off his 1999 Ford F-250 while it was parked near Hunter’s Truck Sales on Big Six Road sometime between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.
Smithfield
Three cited
State police said Jakob Aumer, 19, of Mount Pleasant; Jonathan Laufelf, 18, of Ruffsdale; and Julian Davenport, 20, of Scottdale were cited after Aumer and Laufelf allegedly locked Davenport in the trunk of a vehicle as a practical joke.
An unknown witness called the police thinking it was a kidnapping at 7:20 a.m. Saturday.
According to the police report, the three men stated the incident was a prank.

Two injured
State police said Marcsalese Gaines, 31, of Connellsville and Cheryl Bender, 35, of Mount Pleasant sustained minor injures after their vehicles collided on a legislative route at 6:34 p.m. Friday.
