Vicki Keefer of Revere was honored recently by Beverly Health Care for serving as a volunteer for more than 20 years. In her volunteer work during the past two decades, Keefer has hosted coffee corner, assisted with church services, birthday parties, all the seasonal parties and bingo, which is held every Friday.

Keefer is described by Beverly Health Care administrators as “energetic and fun-loving.” The administrators say Keefer is “very caring and sensitive to residents’ needs.”

She has assisted residents on field trips to go fishing, to the mall and to restaurants. She has taken residents to medical appointments.

Keefer is the mother of three children, grandmother of more than 20 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren.

She volunteers each Wednesday and Friday at the health center.
